Don't understand the tax charges at all - Ive had three from Norway recently and paid the following:

1. BOT - £35
2. Dolk - £0
3. Pobel - £25

All three have had values on the outside - the Pobel had just £50, the Dolk £350 and the BOT £90. 
Totally random charging.

Okay i'm officially confused now. As you have charges in £ i assume your UK based? I thought, and i've spoken to UK customs and they said the same, that if your purchasing something from the EU to the UK there is no charges at all?

If you're ordering or sending purchased goods (other than alcohol and tobacco) to the UK from another EU country then it's just like shopping in the UK:
there is no Customs Duty payable
there is no import VAT payable, unless you're ordering or sending purchased goods from one of the EU 'Special Territories' and if the value of the goods is £15 or more, however from 1 April 2012 all merchandise sent to the UK from the Channel Islands is subject to VAT - see below
there is no Excise Duty to pay

I had a lot of interest in my previous thread, but many have gone silent. I'll try again.



I'm going to New York for a week, starting 23Th of August. I got some inquires from US from time to time regarding Dolk prints I have for sale. The problem selling across boarder are risk of transportation, insurance and import duties and often negotiations ends due to those kind of problems.



I'm looking for buyers who can pick up prints in person in New York, most likely in the Manhattan area.



I got the following Dolk for sale:

- Mushroom Girl

- Crown (pending payment)

- Vandal

- Idea Painter

- Prisoner

- The Ape (also called Man Suite)

- Boxer (uncertain at this time)

- Grenade Lovers (but this one is precious to me, the offer must be good)



I also have a Martin Whatson - Chinook Hearts with red hearts.



Finally, canvas from Pobel named "Jolly Trolley" is available. Offers around £2000 for that one.



PM me with offers. Can be paid by Paypal or USD on pickup. Remember I don't have a car and I'm never been to NY before so it's best that the buyer comes to me.



There will be no import duty or postage fee as a carry prints myself into the plane.

If you take the ferry up North to Lofoten i believe you will find him in a shed listening to Sepultura and making stencils :-) Best of luck on the hunt.
