I don't understand why you have the urge to make people understand the basis of "supply and demand". Maybe it just me but I don’t visit an art forum for that reason

I take it back.... you will find at least 20 out of 30 of these Large Formats just SIT on his site for months at retail price and you will definitely find them MUCH cheaper on ebay; from people who are really regret spending $900 dollars on a bad print they won't hang up and can't store. Either that or he will start doing what Mr. Brainwash does and just pull them after a few days.

Those other large formats he has on his site, were on his art gallery site for years and for much more$$. They pulled them off that site and are pushing them now on obey.com for hundreds cheaper and still no one is touching them. And again PACE prints has a ton of HPM just sitting since 2012 at retail price.

You are not doing any service to anyone by telling them to buy these large formats. Why can't you enjoy both the art and your investment in it? Again, if you are just into art. Stick with instagram and just buy pretty things you like and don't worry about this site at all. You might be much happier that way.

Defend Dignity is the winner. Guns and Roses, Delicate Balance are nice as well.

Defend Dignity actually improves over the 18x24 print. Winner IMO as well. A bit sad that I passed on it seeing that there are not many better LFs in this release, if any.

Sure, some of them are nice but IMO few are ‚I would consider paying $900 for it’ nice. Dignity, Guns and roses, 89 collage. Top 3 for me.

I was hoping for a ‚These sunsets are to die for’ re-relaase - my Obey holy grail. But all those LFs are vertical. Too bad.

Judging by what I have seen this will be a large format for the 30 year series. They should have all the large Format prints at beyond the streets in HPM form ($11k a pop)

But it is nice to see when one of Shep's less popular prints is put up for sale. Fans who have never been able to get a print then have the opportunity. If you look at ebay, there may be 10-15 of the 600 sold. Usually on his drops you can find 100 of the 550 online. At least these are not being flipped and in the hands of people who actually bought them at source prices and who want to keep them for themselves.
