That could be true, the more limited nature adds to the appeal of the colorway probably. But it’s an easy solution for them to “be a class act” when it comes with an extra $15,750 in print sales. Ultimately I would still have bought it if I knew a variant I couldn’t get was coming along, so it is what it is.

It’s a bit of a double standard though just because it’s obey and it’s a relatively inexpensive print. If this were Whatson and GP, I imagine heads would roll. Really just about anyone else.

Just seen this on Facebook, Galerie Itinérance has 4 Shepard Fairey Liberté Égalité Fraternité letterpress prints for sale at St'Art art fair in Strasbourg at €5800 each. seems quite a mark up from what they sold them at last month!

Been a couple sold on ebay, but not seen many about elsewhere. Ebay ones are steal compared to this, not sure people realise there is a special version of this print as they get lost in the listings.

Agreed, totally ironic that the bay is cheaper. Sounds like a graffiti print vault release, overpriced.

Are you referring specifically to the one(s) you are selling there (and just increased in price before posting this), or is this a general statement in good faith ?

I for one don't know who's selling what, but I have seen some sell pn ebay for far less than 5800 €

The seller probably also seen the gallery are now selling them at 5800 and raised the price. Whoever is selling it seems to have sold 2/3 they listed.  Im sure that one wont last too long either now if the gallery sale theirs at the asking price at the art fair.
