Buying Advice, by mobilehome on Mar 4, 2016 20:53:50 GMT 1, I am wondering how people get comfortable purchasing prints (possibly internationally) with others on the Boards? What checklist of precautions should one take? Does Paypal provide sufficient protection if the item never shows up or is fake or damaged? If there is a thread of this nature already, apologies, and let me know its location. Thanks.

Have a look at how many posts someone has made, their content, and how other members interact with them. People who have been here a long time and have a good reputation can generally be trusted to behave well. I have had many good experiences buying from (and occasionally selling to) established members, and no bad ones.
When buying from newbies, I would be very cautious.

Buying Advice, by .dappy on Mar 4, 2016 21:42:13 GMT 1, ... start slowly ... read other threads ... don't jump into buying ... ask questions ... there are no stupid questions, unless someone tells you ... contribute to the forum, get the feel of the place ... have a bit of a thick skin ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
... there is a Members Feedback Thread.
Good Dealings With is always a good place to start and seek out members who have done good deals before (even newbies )

... there is also a Not So Good Dealings With Thread, but don't let that put you off, that's what this community is about to help eachother...
