As soon as I get a notification that sweettoof is adding something new. its a matter of hitting the refesh button a million times hopping your get it before anyone else does. Good luck mate you never know.

+++ LTB Sweettoof, by ed on Dec 31, 2015 12:08:07 GMT 1, Having a look through the above site, a couple of the things they have for sale seem very similar to bits i own by ST. I'm not suggesting they're knock off's; when i look close up, there are slight differences in the frame and work but (especially Cobalt Ruff Neck pandemicgallery.bigcartel.com/product/sweet-toof-cobalt-ruff-neck ) they are almost identical, including the name of the work.
Was just wondering what peoples thoughts are. (sorry for taking over your FS thread)

Just saying.......

They are not dupes. They were unsold from the show last year at Pandemic in BK and were sent back to London recently. They need to be removed from the Pandemic site.

+++ LTB Sweettoof, by 11 on Dec 31, 2015 16:33:38 GMT 1, Sweet has been a prolific and consistent street artist and really has no regard for product - his prices have been way below market value - when you compare him to some of the new upstarts and consider you can buy originals from sweet at less than what some newbies price their first print at it has been incredible - and if you didn't take advantage then you can't now grumble that his prices are more realistic (but still bloody cheap IMO)
Pandemic looks like it is out of date and prices probably reflected his market at the time - some of the work didn't sell so he brought it back and sold through this current show. He's now had a solo show that has gone beyond all expectations and he is still trying to keep everyone happy by pricing things very reasonably. People still seem to want something for next to nothing and that isn't fair on the artist.
If you want some of his work I'd say now is the last chance as I reckon this is the beginning of a steady climb for him (and totally deserved too)

Totally agree with what you said about this finally being his time and am loving the way he's releasing work

This show has some work from the wick show and the show in the states. Still great prices that will rise in his next wave of work. They are up there with the best purchases last year.

That's what makes him and his art so great. No hype, no investment crap, just great art outside and in.

+++ LTB Sweettoof, by chads007 on Jan 3, 2016 14:17:11 GMT 1, Agree with what's said. Nice to have on the wall to enjoy without thinking of value. Not sure I could spend 4 figures on his work though. Suprised how quick some sold as it was uploaded when previously went unsold. I think a lot of it works better on the street. The odd piece in an overall collection is nice to have though.

+++ LTB Sweettoof, by Harveyn on Jan 3, 2016 20:04:25 GMT 1, Personally I am big fan of both his street work and gallery pieces. Always reminds me of my visits to Shoreditch. Compared to some artists people spend 4 figure some on for prints never mind originals I know where my money would go. His oils on canvas really do have real depth and considering his Royal Academy training that does not come as a surprise to me.
I am certainly not advocating any investment potential but I think from the genre of street art he floats my boat.
