      I doub't any President can end mass shootings by a determined person. 

 There have been cases where the police knew someone was a potential killer who owned guns but the police were not allowed by law to confiscate the guns. Recently the police did take guns away from a young guy but gave them back to his father who let his son have access to the guns and his son went on a shooting rampage.

 Guns do give some people a feeling of power and probably put them in situations they would not be in if they never owned a gun.

What a load of BS - and that’s a professional opinion. Clinton’s presidency was arguably the best one in terms of economic policies since Kennedy/Johnson. Clinton era average economic growth: 3.9% (much better than Reagan btw), and the third best since the end of WWII (only Johnson and Kennedy had better growth). And let’s not even talk about the numbers for deficit (he left a surplus to Bush!), employment, labour market participation and entrepreneurship. (Was it perfect? No: it continued, in less extreme form, the Reagan/Bush deregulation trend - but you guys love that).

Please please please stop blatant lies - it’s really embarrassing for you and annoying to others.

If you want to understand (but I doubt it) what has happened to manufacturing in America, just google: “comparative advantage.” Read and think a bit for a change.
