Because you do realize that when Hamas members are able to cross the border, they are not going to have a friendly cookout with the Israelis right? There were not 'hunderds' of people 'assassinated'. 62 people were killed in the riots. Hamas THEMSELVES have stated that 50 of the 62 rioters killed were members of hamas that are now 'marters'. Hamas is a terrorist organization. These people were terrorists.

So how exactly were these people 'innocent'? Setting tires on fire to create smoke screens so others could cut the fence and cross the border. To kill jews. They are not secretive about that you know. They clearly state it on their national television.

Do you realize that every country, every line drawn on a map, on the entire planet is the result of multiple wars in the past? People fought, people won, people lost, the victors drawed lines on the map and countries formed and people moved on. How about Palestine does the same and tries to make something of the 
piece of land they live on?

While I do fully understand how terrible their situation, I don’t see how everyone makes it a one sided issue. All the focus is on the unarmed violent protesters being killed, and not the greater picture. They are being incited by their own government who actually want them to get killed to further their agenda. On the other hand the goal of Israel is to keep their citizens safe.

Shooting someone trying to launch flaming kites to burn down their peoples houses is justifiable to them. Along with which, when protests get violent even in western countries with stones being thrown, the tear gas is always brought out. With all of this and decades of fighting it must take great restraint to not use lethal force.

By no means am I saying Israel is innocent in all of this. Between the forced evictions, taking of land, essential imprisonment of the Palestinians, they have every right to be upset, angry, and wanting their freedom. I am just saying their blame and anger is misplaced. Hamas, the government who should have their best interests in mind continue to encourage them to fight a losing battle. Even Nazi Germany surrendered unconditionally when they were defeated to save the lives of their people and end the bloodshed. At least if they did that and gave up their power - which is clearly their only concern - the international community would have no choice but to force Israel to make concessions to the Palestinians.

If it weren’t for the terrorist group in the middle, there would be no reason why they could not coexist. Would their be racial tensions occasionally? Sure but the same exists everywhere. There’s a reason Catalonia will likely have their independence before Northern Ireland. They weren’t blowing s**t up.
