Another art forum posted the photo on their IG without OPs permission it seems.

Why doesn't this surprise me, asked almost a day ago to take it down and just ignored, there are good guys still over there but the dont seem to be the ones running it - very poor form the way they post anyones photos up they find   :

I think the image rights still belong to the artist, unless you both have signed a specific contract. I think acknowledgement of the source is all that is required when using instagram. I don't think express permission is required - I could be wrong.

I would be interested to hear what others think?

id'e get it take down mate before they stick some glitter on it !

... it is one of the reasons why I put 'dappy ©' on my photos ...

... it is fairly easy to do ... I use paint.net (free) and just drag and drop the photo into it ... add the text plus 'alt+0169' to create the copyright logo ...
