The book “Saeio 2009-2014” is a 350 page monograph on Saeio’s work composed of a large selection of his production from the past 5 years.

A detailed interview (in French and English) brings to light his quest and 300 pages of images provide an understanding of the evolution of his painting throughout the years.

The book brings together the first book of our “Archives” collection along with the first booklet of the “Textes” collection. This booklet presents the essay “Oral Transmission and Mythology in Graffiti” written by art historian Joëlle Le Saux. This text focuses on how the history of graffiti - still in construction today - is formed, like in any emerging culture, of anecdotes that have become structuring myths. Joëlle Le Saux examines how orality and early writings, often provided by fans and graffiti writers themselves, support one another and define this mythological construction.

I saw his artworks  in Palais de Tokyo two weeks ago in an great exhibition ( La Morsure des Termites ) with Alexander raxcska , Saeio, Tomek et Horfee some great French graffers and some US ones too.

good to see a reprint, great book and artist. I still have mine from the first edition, with a poster/cover tagged by Saieo, he did about 20 like this when they were trying to get funds to publish the book in 2015. I might buy a new one to look at it more easily, mine is more difficult to use due to the hand painted cover.

if you are interested in PAL crew, i recommend Phantasies, the book self-published by Esso, a member of the crew. Long interviews with members, including Saieo, tomek and horfee, lots of pictures and drawings, explaining in details their influences and work methods. I fear it is also sold out as it was published in 2018 and limited at 700 copies. Esso is someone to follow, he does a lot to promote Saieo' work, including a tribute in 2019 when he published great prints to fund the event. He is involved in the making of the exhition at Palais de tokyo too.

Est-ce que ça serait trop demandé d'avoir une photo de cette beauté qu'est la cover taguée svp ?  
Comme Lroy, c'est de la jalousie le premier sentiment qui m'est venu hahaha.
Si quelqu'un sait ou se procurer Phantasies d'Esso je suis preneur.
