If its any consolation to people missing out on todays drop, the 'Conjuring' & 'Summoning' are great prints and can be picked up at cost in general, a great forum member set me up with a pair of matching number PP and once simply framed look stunning and much better than the image on a computer screen.

It's proper frustrating but give it a few weeks when all the hype dies down and like every other release these will be pretty much at cost price!

I managed to Bag one, the hand finished one was sold out even though i clicked straight away, it took ages to pay i thought it had crashed twice. Its my first print by Eelus so looking forward to getting it. Might flip it

I was asleep, heard the ding from incoming mail at 2:02am, go downstairs click the buy button, got anxious so had to take a piss off porch (3 feet from computer) while the wheels were spinning, more clicking, go thru paypal. done.

Always easy to say when you got one. But if you didn't get one, please don't let the scaricity principle of the capitalistic model mess with your head.

Got the email in the middle of the night so obviously missed (didn't even have a chance to try). Not too worried, I'll probably wait till they arrive in the flesh and people start posting pics to decide whether I want one bad enough. Nice image, but his other images in this same vein are better. Really, it just depends if the price drops enough to where it makes sense to me. If it doesn't, oh well, on to the next one.

Managed to bag myself a standard edition. I got the email at 10:02 but saw it 2-3 mins after that. Took a while to get in the basket and then timed out about 6 times on checkout. Didn't know I had one until I got the email.

Also had a call from AR about framing. Prints are ready to go out and they seem to be on the ball with packaging.

Asked about PP run. They said it will be around 25.

AR blatantly sorting out certain individuals it seems, very poor form. Have lost my custom from now on, having purchased from them in the past and may well get a visit on the weekend to voice grievances.

Been reading thru the comments in this thread - same theme as the criticisms directed at GP after some of the whatson drops - it's like ground hog day
I doubt if we will see 10% of these framed by the original purchasers sadly.

Read through comments too. I got timed out right on the final click. Was a bit narked. Not going to harp on though. You win some, you lose some. I got lucky with the recent Dolk release and even better luck at the recent Art Car Boot Fair. In all honesty I can't really complain and i'm £200 better off. If I miss out on the forthcoming Miaz Brothers print though ....

Are not galleries entitled to sell to whom they wish? And doesn't it make sense for any vendor of anything to look after their best customers? It's happened throughout the time that I've collected art, and will continue to happen.

Having begrudgingly sourced one on the secondary market I would like to know how the offer framed for an extra £200 was pitched as it seems I completely missed the boat on that one!. I will after the checkout fiasco this morning be removing my details from AR database.

I wanted this as I have the others and want to hang it up alongside. IMO art is for hanging.

Isn't this the same for all good businesses? Always look after your good returning customers. That is what I do and have no problem with them doing the same.

I'm all for sorting your best customers, and you have to expect these drops will be chaos, but it's underhanded to ask/require registration for participation and then not follow through with emails to announce availability. Seems that many people didn't get emails until hours later or not at all.

So did everyone who registered think they were getting a print from the edition of 225 + proofs & handfinished ? Total less than 300 ?
I'm just asking - as I often see posts from members saying 'im buying' this print or that print - at various drops - I've only ever got 1 print at a drop & wondered how people are so confident they will land one of these prints in the bunfight ? Then be so annoyed when they don't ?

Yeah I agree, with popularity of some of these drops it seems to come down to luck. I miss out on a lot of drops because I work outside, and in the middle of nowhere most of the time with no internet access. You win some you lose some, but its usually the latter in most cases.
