Snik originals for sale , by desmond on Apr 26, 2015 13:32:07 GMT 1, For sale are TWO rare original Snik pieces one is from his first show in Germany called Nocturnal.
The owl piece was bought direct from the artist and I have had it professional framed and glassed. The picture is signed and dated and is a very early peice by the artist. This painting was for sale at a London gallery for over ยฃ2000 combined with the girl original over ยฃ2500+. I did have two other versions that I did sell last year in two different colours. I'm only selling to pay for a holiday and to do my garden up.
As stated I have had Three deals fall through recently so am looking for offers/ swaps/trades Please remember this is not a print but an ORIGINAL!! I will be asking for a deposit too once a sale has been agreed.
Size is 750 by 750 mm but bigger framed cannot find tape measure, but about 850/900 by 850/900mm.
The second original is of a girl it was made by Snik when he was deciding on a colour for a competition piece that got world wide notice. (The competition was called the Threadneedle award it was in the telegraph news paper and he was the first ever stencil artist to get the recognition he did. The version he entered was like this but in another colour)
This is again signed and dated on the back the picture does look faded but this was the style/ process he did when making 3 different versions. It measures 71cm in length and is 56 cm wide approx. It is not framed, but looks great. I did have a silver version but have sold this as well as selling the yellow eyed version of the owl.
As you can see there is a black mark on the nose this was there when I got it from Snik.
Signed on the back:
Pick up only unless you sort the courier. Maybe able to deliver to London area.
I would like to sell both together and am looking for offers/ trades or cash and trade. Any questions please ask. To help I'm looking for offers over ยฃ1000.
