 Same here. I do like it but feel that it probably is joined together but if you have the cassette tape it will display nice with that. He didn't seem to promote this one as much this time around...i'd guess around $350 for this one so I won't be to burnt if I can't get it and will track it down on the aftermarket.

That's what it was last time - not necessarily going to be the same for this release but sure it won't be far off if not.

medichead is referring to shipping cost not cost of the product. That was also the cost of shipping through an eBay sale. He will be selling directly from his site this time around so I expect a lower shipping cost to the UK. I could be wrong.

The headphones do look way different. I guess it was too thin maybe to mold without the risk of snapping but it is bothering me the more I look at it in comparison. I guess this is a good opportunity to go back and pick up some of the older relics if nothing else.

Ok sorry I misread that but it might not be far off from the price of the actual relic. I know it was terrible for folks overseas last time with the shipping but he is responding to people in the comments saying they have fixed that issue so we'll see.

I really thought these were great in the beginning, but as of recently just think they're kind of lame and really lacking something. I do enjoy his larger sculptures, particularly the ones that resemble a person covered up with waves (not sure if they have a name), maybe he should downsize some of those into 12-16" pieces.

Arshams whole premise is this idea of being in the future and future archaeology. He is pretending that this item is uncovered in the year 2079. If you look on the boxes it says Excavated and some year well into the future.

I definitely get his intent. I just think they're lazy, uninspired choices for relics, which don't provide any artistic insight or commentary. It's obvious to choose items which are already obsolete and can be found in a similar state at a local garbage dump. I feel that choosing current items as relics would be more interesting and would spark more dialogue.
