Hi everyone, i'd like to buy some Fairey prints. I've made a list of those i'm interested in. I don't want to buy all of them : It will depend on the price (very unequal in my list ) and which ones you have to sell. In a perfect world i'd like to buy 2 or 3 (to the same person would be probably a dream)
As a french, i would prefer to buy in europe but i'm open to all sources

here is the list:
- Rise above rebel
- Burmese monk
- Universal personhood
- Occupy protester
- Freedom of the press
- 1984 george orwell (not necessarly the set with the Animal farm)
- Obey elephant
- Mujer fatal
- Peace goddess

as a rookie here, tell me if i did something wrong or if i should do in another way

Seems about right. Good luck with getting some of those. I have both Love is the drug ones framed. Love those.

Be careful in purchasing Peace Goddess. There are a lot of fakes especially on Ebay.

Can you say how you know? Any sellers to avoid? I never see that many peace goddess prints on eBay.UK.. is it more state side?

I don't think I've ever seen fakes for sale.
I guess it's possible for some of the more iconic pieces, like Peace Goddess.

More info would be appreciated.

solidity Where are you? If you're in the U.S you might be better off asking on Expressobeans or the Giant forum... for the cheaper prints anyway.

The shipping and import duty makes them more expensive from source for European buyers.

As i said, i'm from france, so it's better for me to buy in europe.
But i can probably be delivered to a friend's in US (not very sure), so still open to any sources.
i dont know expressobeans and the giant forum. I'm gonna take look thanks !

It may just be on the US Ebay site. There were a number of fakes that kept showing up about 6-12 months ago. There were several sellers from the Ukraine (don't recall their id's) that had signed & numbered fakes listed for over $1,000. The paper & signature on these didn't look quite right. When I had contacted one seller asking for closeups of the print and signature, the auction was suddenly ended and then reposted a few days later with the print in a frame that partially hid the signature.  

They may have given up on trying to sell fakes as there are now several oversized reproductions posted on US Ebay from sellers in the  Ukraine.
