Phlegm Civilisation, by wottagunn on Sept 16, 2014 3:58:00 GMT 1, Hi All,
I am looking for an unframed Civilisation by Phlegm. Mint is not a huge issue, but definitely preferred.
I understand the current value and will not low ball any potential sellers. I live in Australia, and will be happy to cover express shipping with insurance if need be.
This is my first post here, as I figured I would have a better shot here rather than Expresso Beans. If you have any concerns please PM and I will provide references of my reliability. I like to think I am pretty good to deal with.
Cheers

There was a framed one for sale a few weeks ago I'm sure you could get it unframed or shipped framed. You don't see many for sale.

Phlegm Civilisation, by wottagunn on Sept 16, 2014 8:07:40 GMT 1, Yeah, had a chat with Chads007 about his copy. Nice guy, but he is looking to sell it framed only, and whilst it is a tasteful frame job, the cost of it + shipping to Aus equals out to be a little bit higher than what it would cost for me to get an unframed one and frame it locally. Plus im not entirely comfortable having a 46" piece of glass shipped halfway around the world, no matter the carrier.
Cheers

Cheers No probs mate...guess if you found one unframed (not many about especially unframed)..you'd be looking at minimum 850gbp...fees and shipping tubed to you would come to around 925...basic truvue conservation clear framing 250gbp....museum standard add on 100-150 gbp. ..so mine still works out cheaper if you change your mind understand about shipping glass but many have used flight logistics without issue as far as I know

Flight Logistics is top notch and have shipped larger pieces with glass to me in perfect condition. Do the deal mate, buy it with confidence. They can also remove the glass and ship in the frame while you purchase new glass on your side. There are many ways to manage this.

Phlegm Civilisation, by wottagunn on Sept 17, 2014 1:19:54 GMT 1, nrgball, alittle, jettad, whl10 – thanks for the words fellas.
chads – No problem mate. I have considered all things, and figured ill try for a bit looking for an unframed copy. I’m a pretty impatient person though, so give me a month and I might come crawling back to you Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about you!

Phlegm Civilisation, by wottagunn on Sept 29, 2014 9:46:48 GMT 1, Is it possible to bump threads here, or are they all "falling"? Either way, I'm still wanting a Civilisation. Offer will be very enticing!
