Something I hadn't noticed until I saw the image under bright lights, there were a bunch of specs and spots in the black ink above the woman. Almost as if someone touched it with greasy hands or while the ink was still wet. Also, I had a nice ding in mine when I unrolled it.
I emailed The Outsiders and Zoe very quickly replied offering to possibly find a replacement but the dent didn't really bother me that much. The ink splotches however does bother me. I'm just hoping it's not as visible once framed and on my wall.
Anyone else have any issues with their print?

It's not as though they aren't trying though, as you can tell they put the money in to it. I passed on suggestions about improvements going forward and I really do hope they take those suggestions in to consideration.

so simple can't understand how these galleries who have sent thousands of prints can't figure this out by now.

It resembles damage that would occur when placing the rolled print in the tube and pushing down on the edges. However, the ding doesn't bother me since I'm framing with a mat. Those ink splotches worry me though.

Kind of hard to see unless you look at it from different angles, but kind of driving me crazy. Does anyone else have this on the their print? It almost looks like a printing defect on mine? There doesn't seem to be any other damage on the back or front other then the small "line". It almost seems to be heavier areas of ink that make it stick out if that makes any sense???

The print was damaged because there was nothing holding it in place, free to smash around from end to end during transit. There is very little resistance when the tube is so wide like that, which is why the print needs to be rolled smaller than the tube and taped.
On edit: Just to be clear, this is not me slamming them. As stated, I can see that they tried, and they are very prompt at resolving any issues, but there are some very simple steps they can take to improve things and avoid the issues before they arise.

Put it back in tube within ten minutes. Will be dropped off at the framers on Tuesday. I will give it another look over when at the framers.
When I got my Chloe Early there was four dings in the black. Could not really see them looking at the front unless you knew where they were at but could tell from the back right away. Thought I would be ok with it that way but I contacted OUTSIDERS and was able to get a replacement. The replacement came on Friday also. It looks great and will be dropped off at the framers on Tuesday also.

However you are definitely correct in saying if it was packaged correctly, no damage would have been caused during transit.

No damage or splotches on mine. It looked like the print did slide down inside the craft paper and came very close to the edge, but not quite far enough to damage it.
