True. I knew him as being very active and known within the graffiti world. But with these actions he's digging is own hole. I was of the impression that the t's where a bit of a mistake and that this print would proof that he is not off the line. Yet, I do not believe he sold any of the prints that he put on his website a few weeks ago, the Ben Eine, Retna and Kaws prints.

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by Invaded 420 on Sept 19, 2014 11:00:19 GMT 1, I think its just as sad for everyone, 3 or 4 months later to just keep repeating themselves like a broken record. If you don't like the guy and truly believe he's scamming and what not then stop talking about him. Any publicity is good publicity. Same people posting the same thing for months, its actually quite funny. Fair fucks to bne for causing such a stir. We all know its better to give direct in most cases then donating to a charity as most of the people in need see very little of the money if any!

While this sh**show was going down, shep actually released a print that goes to charity: So you're saying buy a climate change print from America, thats a great f**king idea, let them tube it up and stick it on a plane to you. I love BNE, he just doesn't give two f**ks about the fan boys, and the greedy. This release just made me so happy. Breathe, and take solace in your happiness. I wasn't criticizing your idol, just saying given his actions it doesn't seem like he gives two f**ks about much at all...

I would think it was sad, if he didn't take tens of thousands of dollars from people under fall pretense of helping a charity

This tittle : This is not a Banksy print. then : " "Absolutely, without a single doubt, 100% NOT a collaboration with the spray-art activist known as Banksy." These words, with insistance ( absolutely not ) this humor sounds as a Banksy joke and/or collab.
But I know nobody will believe me. Maybe I am too much fan.

As for any publicity being good publicity, I really don't think so. If that were the case, people would have bought his prints. All evidence points to the contrary. He was caught lying that they sold out. If anything, only a handful of idiots lost their money this time around.
I also don't think this is the reaction he's going for. He's become the Linsey Lohan of the street art word. Except that Lindsey Lohan actually had some talent before she became a complete dumpster fire.

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by Deleted on Sept 19, 2014 14:54:19 GMT 1, How many times does he have to write, "this is not a Banksy print"
Reverse psychology maybe knowing that some people out there will think it is a Banksy print ?
anyone that googles Bne Banksy gets hundreds of sites the come up which all say the same thing about this BNE set up.
www.jacktwo.com/bne-collaborative-t-shirt-not-banksy/
animalnewyork.com/2014/bnes-world-water-day-scam-banksy-collaborating-t-shirt/
blog.vandalog.com/2014/03/bne-lies-to-his-fans-sells-a-fake-collaboration-with-banksy/
The print looks like some photoshop concoction.
The statement that bne.org/eng/ "Prints will ship within 8-10 weeks." means that the 45 day Paypal claim back period will have expired if they don't get their print.
"All sales are final" is a warning flag too.
The sales page says nothing about any money going to any charity.
but the big image of the print on the sales page clearly says "water" and "for charity"
If people want to buy this print and are happy with it thats their choice.
If people feel they have been misled and want a refund from Paypal then thats their choice too.
They can mail BNE and demand he sends proof of his US charity status as presumably any donations or money that goes to a charitable cause is tax exempt.
Paypal also states that if the money or part of the money goes to charity, that proof has to be provided to Paypal.
If anyone feels they have been misled then thay can contact Paypal and demand a refund.
Paypal also says that items should be shipped immediately so 8 to 10 weeks shipping time is probably not acceptable to Paypal.
Plus the fact they probably have the BNE website and previous assosciated Paypal account red flagged.

+like!
BNE did do a lot of good for charity in the past, and he will probably do a lot of good stuff for charity in the future! He did some bad stuff for some charity too. He is also a great streetartist with a lot of (street)cred. And he also did some pretty weird sh*tty stuff. I did like what he did in the past and in my mind he is still one of the great streetartists and a guy who cares. Sometimes people are nice and sometimes we act like complete as$h0les. Sometimes we do good but sometimes we do not. Sometimes we need some help and sometimes we do not. Sometimes we need to talk and sometimes it is time to shut up....
That's all i can say about it.

He's done alot over the years for charities.respect for bne. Even if he made a couple dick moves The evidence I'm referring to was when he marked the prints sold out with the inventory on the Japanese side still showing 485 in stock. Just another lie in a sea of lies.
Personally, I take his charitable donations with a grain of salt. In the past, he tried to pass his company off as a charitable organization. If you weren't paying very close attention, you were probably under the impression he was running a non-profit. Reading the comments on here, some people were still under that impression.
He benefitted more from using the charities' names than they benefitted from him. People were willing to spend $50 on a shirt because they thought it was for charity. $7 of that went to charity (maybe) and at least $30 profit per shirt went to him.
My personal opinion is he's been a bit of a scam artist all along. He's just recently gone off the rails. Beyond that, everyone loves a good train wreck. It would be a little bizarre to think people on a Banksy forum wouldn't be hounding a guy for using Banksy's name to scam people.

Believe me if i put what came in to my head sometimes... hahah theres been no evidence of anything lol just mad heads hounding the guy and tryin to burn him at the stake. He's done alot over the years for charities.respect for bne. Even if he made a couple dick moves Well fact is that BNE collected a lot of money for charity.
All he has to do is provide proof that this money has been given to a charity.
I'm pretty sure the last thing he said was he's going to spend the money to do charitable work himself. In the meantime, I'm willing to bet it has been paying his bills.

I have no time for these so called charities (I'm sure there's a couple that are what they say they are) I work at a so called 'charity' run care home. Absolute disgrace. They use that term to line there own back pockets.

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by randomname on Sept 19, 2014 16:28:02 GMT 1, There are organizations that rate charities. For me, the primary thing is the percentage of money raised that goes to the stated cause and not to salaries, overhead etc. I do a lot of work for a homeless shelter for teenagers. More than 97% of the money raised goes into the shelter. If you do your homework, there are some good organizations out there. Some not so good ones too.

The print sold out, but as expected, we had to cancel some people's orders who didn't actually buy a tee, but attempted to get a print at the discounted price anyway. I have sent you a PayPal invoice for one print. Please respond or submit payment ASAP. We will hold this for you until tomorrow. Best, Team BNE Shocking...
