BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by Deleted on Sept 19, 2014 19:52:10 GMT 1, I do like the abstract moral question this whole thing raises.
Do you help the naive/innocent people sticking by BNE? Or do you assume they have brought it upon themselves, and thus allow BNE to walk free?
I don't think anyone believes that the way this has been conducted has been a good thing for anyone, even if Banksy is involved. If Banksy is involved, I'd be extremely disappointed; this isn't his kind of 'prank' at all, really.

I don't get how he's ever going to show his face in public after this. Its just utter madness. he had a shot at fixing it, but he just ran it right into the ground.

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by Deleted on Sept 23, 2014 11:55:50 GMT 1, There are organizations that rate charities. For me, the primary thing is the percentage of money raised that goes to the stated cause and not to salaries, overhead etc. I do a lot of work for a homeless shelter for teenagers. More than 97% of the money raised goes into the shelter. If you do your homework, there are some good organizations out there. Some not so good ones too. I would rather donate money or art for sale to a the homeless shelter you work for than someone who uses charity to line their own pockets.
BNE as an enterprise making money from slapping stickers on walls is OK if he can make money from it but why should anyone trust someone who says they are raising money for charity when they don't even know who the person is?

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by met on Sept 27, 2014 2:04:53 GMT 1, seems there are a number of very choice PT Barnum quotes applicable here. Im not sure how many times your friend needs to get screwed over, and how many more ways BNE could have said that you are not getting a BANKS. He seems to be in a bit of an abusive relationship with BNE. There may be some kind of support group he can join. I couldn't pull the triggerβ¦my mate did so will update any info he getsβ¦ His theory is that the page says that 'this in not a Banksy print' but reckons he will get a mail saying 'but this is and this is what you purchased'β¦the only thing urban about all this is it being a myth!! Clever marketing but ffs! It doesn't sound like the friend is quite ready to join a support group. They haven't yet acknowledged the existence of a problem.
We're still at the stage where they're saying, "It was a misunderstanding, and my fault for provoking him. He really does love me. You don't know him like I do."

The patience and respect you show towards sparring partners, including those you run rings around, is both impressive and admirable. It's also effective in abating ego-driven, point-scoring concerns β encouraging the other side to actually consider your arguments in a dispassionate manner.
If you were to join forces with an unpleasantly aggressive, brutish and perhaps physically-intimidating character, I suspect you could wipe the floor with the opposing team in most political or commercial negotiations.

Have been cleaning so much water with my bare hands, that shipping has been delayed. However for our most gullible loyal suckers supporters, I can arrange a VIP shipping option for just 50 pounds.
Someday this will be made into a movie

cannot wait to see those who did post pics of what they got. particularly framed up on the wall.
it's *almost* all i want for the holidays.

Email today to confirm shipping this Thursdayβ¦.
However UK buyers will not receive these before Xmas⦠Which seems odd
If you remember it was $40 for shipping to the UK, and $100 for US residents, which would lead you to believe they are being sent from the UK.
All part of the ruse?

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by behaviorist on Dec 17, 2014 2:50:49 GMT 1, apparently these are going to ship this week...
in the spirit of kicking a dead horse, I had not realized there was any ambiguity in what the final image would be. I took the "authentic urban art tshirt for charity" image as THE print, as I assume did others, but reading the instagram comments it seems folks are missing that point?

BNE πΊπΈ BNE Was Here β’ Stickers β’ Street Art, by Deleted on Dec 17, 2014 3:22:31 GMT 1, My guess: BNE, through his connections in the street art world, has a friend who has a friend who may know Banksy. Someone whispered in BNE's ear that Banksy might be interested in collaborating. Then for whatever reason he said no.
now BNE has been delaying shipping these later and later, holding on to the slim notion that Banksy will change his mind, which never happened. Now he's backed into a corner, is going to send people a s**t print, and try to explain it all as some prank or some s**t "life lesson".
