He's right dude, there aren't any Banksy's lying around. I asked them before and they couldn't stop laughing. Forget the Banksy's though. There's some absolutely beauties coming out. I'm still pinching myself about bagging a BSF (currently at the framers). I reckon they've got a couple Drans squirrelled away and some Invaders...although you can actually pick up a lot of the old releases at cost....

At this point, I'm kind of curious where you're getting information. I'd be more than happy to be wrong, since I'm all about a retailer not marking up prices, but I can't find anywhere that says the original BSF price was 75p; everywhere I look says it was $60 when it was released in 2007 (EB, in particular).
Again, I'd gladly be wrong.

this is what i mean. they release six unsigned banksys for below market value, and then the 1,000 people who tried/failed to buy it will likely end up buying a banksy bristol poster or something so they don't feel completely lost. it's strategy.

Really, BSF is what made me think it was more of a possibility - that was something I never thought they'd re-release.

The only thing I can realistically see happening is a release of unsigned Mary, since it was available for so long before selling out that they may actually have a fair deal of them. Just putting four or five of them on the website - they'll get 1,000+ instagram followers, etc. and it will get their name everywhere. Those are the kinds of things that some businesses actually pay $$$$ for. Really, BSF is what made me think it was more of a possibility - that was something I never thought they'd re-release. |

Unfortunately the flaw in your logic is what you consider to be a top print... After watching these boards for a while I have realized that some people freak out over prints that I could care less for.

Edit: the 2D is pretty disappointing IMO; he's my favorite Gorillaz character, and I feel like he could've been better portrayed. It seems to even lack detail.
