I managed to sneak by AF's USA embargo (don't let one uneducated flipper ruin it for the rest of us!) and snagged a BSF today however I really want a yellow noodle that I missed out on last week. is there anyone out there that would talk about a swap if I throw in some cash to compensate for difference in purchase price? if so, please PM me....if not, I am still psyched to own my first Hewlett!

BSF is one of the absolute classics from the halcyon days and arguably the most desirable Hewlett print (save for perhaps, The Kid). Respect to POW for keeping the price so low. They could have doubled, or even trebled, the asking price and it would still have been a good buy. Plus, the prints didn't even sell out immediately. For a moment there it felt like being back in 2004.

Why To doubled or tripled a price of a print from their own stocks because of the years, or... ebay ?! they are a gallery - and not antiquarians, lol - making prints and they have not to deal, I mean to trade and play with the prices, to increase it ( they can do bargains at the contrary ) , etc.. All the great galeries won't do that, they have a name and an ethic. The have also to respect to law and selling prints in the prices marked first. That's the law. |

With the video/animations in more ( as this great passage in the Rock n' roll swindle ) - Clips from Gorillas are the best that i 've seen anyway, and Hewlett a great illustrator :

Im sure theres other yellows out there. Not seen many of any colour come up.

Yes , good, nice, great and clever post about the Banksy or print business ( we understand why Banksy does not want to make any prints: too much complicated, straight, between to be the man liking the people and helping the pours and those surrealist prices ( only for rich men ) surrounding the print market via eBay, Sotheby's etc.. How to feel his place in that's way ? Banksy will always stay and be Banksy and that is good for him and for us ! Don't trust them ( us ? ) mate, most wants to flip or keep in safe your artworks as a value, and not put them on walls as a refuge for a lost and last regard, but not the least : hope. Art helped me a lot: without it I should be dead. Who cares ?
