They do seem to remain popular as another member mentioned, its the "entry level" Banksy of choice for the new collector. Depending on where/who you buy from id say between £700-£1000, which for an unsigned run of 1000 sounds a lot, but it is by the big man himself. Personally id rather save the extra and get an unsigned "Rat", unless you really like the flags image that is!

I really like the image, but it's by no means my favorite. I would really love a Nola or Jack & Jill, but the Flags seems like the only one I can afford at the moment. I might just keep saving, unless I find one for a really good price.

There are a number of damaged one's about - the chromalux paper isn't conducive to handling - so you might get one for as little as £500 according to the extent of the damage. That said, a mate on here picked up a 'mint' one recently for £700. So you might strike lucky.

I reckon it's a good keeper, and ought to be a good investment considering what other unsigned Banksy's fetch

There a lot more to than that some of the crap that POW has released over the years, even if the image is middling

one of the last Banksys that was actually accessible - both location and price wise - for the majority of people and not the subject of some wanky all night shitfest in a piss stained east end alley and having to deal with guttersnipes and other tawdry east end vermin- you could still buy Flag a day later at cost.

I should get one for the collection I s'pose, I swapped mine out a little while later and never got around to sourcing another-m I can stick in a CND backdoor as a makeweight in a cash deal if anyone is interested

I sold my MINT Flags through the forum for £500, but that was about 2 years ago...i'd say around £700 is fair nowadays.

Actually I am pretty sure that 100 of the 1000 were sold in Bristol.

^^^ correct - quite a symbolic release in many ways - next ghetto release was bethlehem IIRC and although you could reserve the prints in manager Sq, they were not available for purchase- alos the location was resrictive for those who couldnt get out there for the release
