Totally agree, there's no questioning Josh Keyes Technical ability but I definitely prefer the edgier surreal works, there's more individuality than the more standard landscapes with animals in them. There's another artist called Paul James who does similar exceptional detail landscapes with animals and I'm sure there's many others so it seems a bit of a step back, still, his skill level for detail is incredible.

This is just 'chocolate box' as my mum would call it IMO. Reasonably nicely painted but when you compare the level of technique to the king of 'chocolate box' animal painting - David Shepherd it is actually pretty poorly executed.

Yes.great post this is an easy pass. Looks like Something you would see framed at a car boot sale lol I hope this style change is not permanent
