Her work "is about women trying to find freedom from society's twisted preconceptions of what a woman should or shouldn't be" but she only every seems to paint 'models'.
She doesn't seem to be trying to un-twist the pretty obvious preconception of physical beauty.

Except Hush kills it! And she is "OK" but really, geisha was a bit of a stretch for her genre.

I feel this is an attempt to represent how she feels the media portrays women and how that character however beautiful and powerful are still trapped by social stereotypes and expectation (even in something as harmless as a comic).
