I will post accordingly, I did think that it would be reasonable to expect a 'while you wait' service from my trusted local framer but apparently I have to form an orderly queue as he's busy....!

I will add some pics later but major props to these guys and EINE for a fantastic piece and incredible packaging etc. I really cannot fathom how much time it took/will take to package all of these flat like they did but kudos!

If there was anyone on the fence regarding the whole giclee thing I would honestly just forget this as it looks stunning in person!!

I produced this print , under my production company 'Squarity' the real challenge was creating a particle mixture that shimmers like nothing I have ever seen or worked on before. It took a few months to get it right.

Ben asked me to produce this as I have been experimenting with various after effects for some time.

The mixture consists of solid black diamond dust, silver flake glitter, clear diamond dust and black glitter.

In order to produce this edition over 5kg of this mixture was made. Diamond dust albeit glass is not cheap, and the solid black particles are hard to acquire.

Everyone was pleased with the outcome and the black shimmer effect on this print is unrivalled. Think of this print as a step forward rather than get hung up on the 'giclee' aspect. Giclee is a museum recognised art form and is becoming an important part of many artists work.

It was only 40-50 years ago the exact same argument was made about silkscreen printing not being a valid art form. Warhol did a lot to change that.

Thank you for the brief insight into the production process! It sounds like a huge effort went into this print to ensure a top quality end result, so giclee or screenprint it really doesn't matter, it looks a cracking print, and im sure Ben would not release anything he wasn't happy with !!

Everything said re the printing technique rings true in the finished print. The pictures on the first page don't do it justice. As soon as any light hits the print it just glistens, it is really is a well executed piece and has to be seen to be appreciated!

I'm lucky enough to have one of these in the UK. It's framed amazingly, float mounted against a black background in a chrome aluminium frame with ultra view UV glass... You have to see the way this glistens in person, it is stunning. Absolutely love it. (First post btw!)

Am I the only one who finds it a little odd that a new member claims to have one framed in the UK a week after it went on sale? Almost as if it's someone connected to the print shop posing as a satisfied customer

These were printed in the UK as RYCA mentioned, god knows why they were then shipped to the US to be released there, when most have now been purchased by UK buyers, very odd! However there were some UK based galleries who got hold of some before they got shipped across the pond, so the forum member who posted his pics does actually have framed print in his possession. Not sure why anyone who wanted this print would of paid all that shipping and run the risk of it getting damaged in transit, then there is the import duty to worry about when these were available in the UK to begin with!

Whilst I love the idea of a conspiracy theory, all cloak and dagger and that, there remains the possibility of buying these in the UK in pristine condition without having to pay import and postage and running the risk of postal damage...

I just opened my one from the states the print is amazing, the end result is better than I expected. I also bought the tenderloin alphabet and out of the two I'll be getting see no evil first. I'll upload some pics very soon.
