Based on this idea: #2 and #3 are pretty parallel. If it was a box, #1 (Chinatown) would be  to the lower right. So I'm thinking parallel to #1 but to the left (Soho/Tribeca).

Also, he previously did one on Bleeker near Bowery, and with Comic Con next week--I'm sure he'd be doing one in Clinton.

A mate of mine uses an iphone app that records his running routes on a map and he actually did a route around the local town in the shape of an enormous cock and balls, which he proudly posted on facebook.

I'm not the world's greatest cartographer, but I can definitely see a pattern forming here.

If my suspicions are correct, then as well as Manhattan, I would expect some Banksy activity around the bottom of Throgg's Neck, near to Flushing, and to expect him to finish by coming into Brooklyn.

i have seen you post that a bunch of times how would you possibly know that is the case? i am sure he has many a lookouts but unless you are in a very very close circle of people i don't see how you could know the exact details of his operation.

What I'm interested in is this. It's 2013 in New York City. I'm sure many forum members have visited NYC. There are cameras EVERYWHERE. EVERYONE has a smart phone that takes pix and video. Knowing he is out there (with a crew/group of helpers), can he really do this without being caught? Walk thru manhattan sometime and look for all the cameras...they're unavoidable. Not saying he will be "unmasked", but someone will catch him in the act.

No worry about him being arrested. And if one of his crew gets picked up, who's connecting it to Banksy? Their image would just go down as a pale imitation or copycat, until the image is placed on the website, then it becomes a Banksy.

Do you think there'll be a "making of" book or dvd released after this? I mean, someone must be documenting this all behind the scenes.

I don't "know" that per se. But I've been around the game long enough to know safe functional ways of keeping things clean, quick and quiet. And Mr. B had too much riding in this to have a big posse running around with him or to be flying solo. It just doesn't work. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a mini van with a slide door close by either. But I don't know that 100%. Lets call it intuition.

I know he's doing it each day because of the fact that the 'you complete me' piece was put up, found, photo'd then the phone number was added 2 hours later. My office is also 2 blocks from the piece so I scoped it after both instances.

The Citi's security cams are documenting it very well. How many night shift workers have footage downloaded to their keychain USB drives.
