If you can do this and perhaps pass on the cost of the postage/insurance to the buyer then that might be a better way to go about sending the prints.
Good luck with the sales.

Signed Strawberry Donuts and Grannies, by Ruggs on Sept 1, 2013 9:55:54 GMT 1, Buyers risk! Alarm bells. If I had the potential to make around ยฃ8k through selling prints I would do my utmost to find the best and most trouble-free way of couriring either internally or further afield as I possibly could. Even if it cost me a small fortune to do so. Some sellers can be very lazy when it comes to the carriage part of the deal.

Signed Strawberry Donuts and Grannies, by ricardob on Sept 1, 2013 11:24:50 GMT 1, Thank you for the feedback, but I believe it is a bit unfair. Or maybe I was not clear in my original post. I am happy to deal face to face but I know the majority of people in here would be either in USA or UK. I know that a lot of people would not be happy to take the risk and have it post it somewhere but I have to say that I don't want to be responsible for prints damaged in transit or people having to pay tax to customs. I will pack the print in a hard tube, just like the ones POW uses. I can pack it flat and send it if the buyer wants. As I said, it is completely up to the buyer. The buyer is paying for postage, not me. I've been upfront and I hope people appreciate that. I am happy to use any courier company choosen by the buyer and insure it for whatever he/she wants. I've stated that the buyer is responsible for paying postage so it is up to him/her to choose whatever better suits. I hope this post clarifies things.
Cheers

Signed Strawberry Donuts and Grannies, by trapnel1 on Sept 1, 2013 15:04:37 GMT 1, When importing to the UK, Customs Duty is payable if the value of a gift exceeds ยฃ135, but will be waived if the amount of duty is ยฃ9 or under. Import VAT is payable if the value of the gift exceeds ยฃ36. Not sure if you could get away with insuring for full value while declaring another value for customs......
