Signed Banksy vs. Unsigned Iconic Banksy, by propogandadan1 on Aug 22, 2013 6:36:57 GMT 1, What's the general consensus when it comes to say, a signed NBG or Trolleys vs. an older, more "iconic" yet unsigned Banksy like GWB, Laugh Now or even Barcode? There are many variables to the equation, but assume all have a COA. Which would you rather?
Been a member for a while, but don't often post. Appreciate any advice you can provide.

Do you mean, rather.... have on the wall, or rather hold in hopes of increased value? Careful, around here you're always at risk for being skewered for not just 'buying what you like.'

Personally, I'd rather have an unsigned gwrb, liita, hmv and bc on my wall over many signed prints, no question.
Totally agree Hanksy lets face it they're all exactly the same, Your paying a hefty premium for a pencil signature, GWB difference between signed and unsigned is 20k, you could buy an Ab Lincoln signature on the doc of independance for that!! I'm not knocking signed, if you have the pennies go for signed over unsigned like for like but between lower end signed and iconic unsigned it has to be iconic. At some stage the difference between the same signed and unsigned has to narrow, lets face it they're all authenticated as original Banksys and anyone looking at a GWB or LIITA knows who it is IMO
