This was one of my favourites for sure. Also the cheapest and the smallest which is good. Strangely it had the most layers of all of them with silkscreen, vinyl, plastic and aerosol. The closet to an original I thought. Very tempting! And it comes framed in a John jones frame.

It would be tempting if I had anywhere near the funds to buy one!

New Adam Neate Editions, by Cardiff on Aug 10, 2013 16:02:38 GMT 1, Thanks for the videos...certainly helps! Can anyone that's been there describe how much depth there is to the 3D/perpex aspects of the Blue/orange portrait (obviously, it can't be too much given the fact that the frame is only 5cm deep)? Also curious about the same on the red portrait (movement).
Lastly, anyone know what they are charging to ship to the US? Thanks again for the videos!

I went from knowing the exact one I wanted to being totally in love with multiple pieces and now have no clue what I want. But really those videos were really helpful to give more depth to what we were looking at.

Cannot remember the prices of the orig but it was a decent sum Cardiff I have shipped through Elms before and it has been decent. If you email them they will I am sure quote you in advance as they do have all this sorted usually.
Note this is a close up of the sing original not the edition

Managed to get the last book for my collection which he signed & was nice enough to do another doodle for me. One day I'll afford an edition once my house deposit is saved well worth the long journey down !

New Adam Neate Editions, by Deleted on Aug 10, 2013 19:51:40 GMT 1, Prices and picks are all on the website Are they? I'm looking on my phone, and can't see them. Just the images. Are the prices on a different page Johnnyh? Coach - you have to click on each image. It will then enlarge and the prices are in the text descriptions under the enlarged image. I guess it might not display on some phones?
This is the first show I've been really excited about in a good year or so and I wasn't disappointed. I could have spent a large fortune. As it was I put a very sizeable dent in my credit card. I have three favourites...
1. Kneeling and screaming - the same size as the original and with the screen printing overlays and extra frosting, it really works and really looks 3D. Sorely tempted, but had to draw a line somewhere.
2. Orange and Blue Lenticular - this really really pops and was the image getting the most attention whilst I was there. The 3D effect is fantastic and (for me) worked better than the red lenticular. From a lot of angles it looks truly 3D. I was blown away by this piece, so much so that I had to get one. I know a fair few others felt the same and a number of the 22 were purchased.
3. The Hologram piece - what can I say? It left me speechless and shows another major transition in his work. Speaking to Adam, he was studying the limitations of the technology - how deep he could go, what colours he could use and worked with that on a Matisse type theme. The piece is truly 3D. Stunning. So much so, I had to get one. The piece comes with the stand and light, being specially configured to maximise the effect. Adam says he has an idea to do more holograms in the future so that multiple pieces can be shown alternately in the same stand.
All in all, another tour de force from Adam. Out of all the artists that we all follow on these boards, he is the one that I think really is doing something truly extra-ordinary.
I took some photos, but I'm cr@p with a camera. If anyo of them look okay, I'll add them later.
Regards,
Adam.
