No worries Dice. Yes the prices I have quoted that I paid are VAT free due to the fact that bought in Sing and the second one was bought in London but shipped out.
Sure Elms would co operate. If size is smallish you can also buy outside yourself and just carry in which avoids VAT and shipping. I have done this quite a lot especially in China as import duties here are a pain and pricey. Similarly taking all ready owned pieces in and out of UK.
