Some of Mr Hirsts bits in Padstow gallery, by seagull on May 1, 2013 11:54:43 GMT 1, I had an email through from drang regarding the exhibition, thou it said through appointment only. I couldn't understand if the email was an invite or just telling me I needed one? It's not too far for me, so would love to go take a look.

Some of Mr Hirsts bits in Padstow gallery, by Dr Plip on May 1, 2013 12:10:42 GMT 1, Not sure about all these lenticulars popping up, they are all really expensive, what are peoples thoughts? There will be more adam neate lenticulars this year too. Lenticulars have been around for so long, I'm surprised that more artists don't use the process. It's not that expensive. But if you picture a lot of the famous paintings that have been reproduced as lenticulars or in "3D" (Mona Lisa, The Scream, etc) as souvenirs, then I suppose you run the risk of your work looking a touch twee or corny?
But if you're creative and don't royally take the piss with the edition size or prices, lenticular editions could be superb.
Holograms! Now they're the future. Big green holograms like you used to get in your cereal. Happy days. Come on Neate, give me a hologram.

Not everybody lives inside the M25 And better still, I didn't realize there was a time limit on art,
Somebody will have to let Monet know his time is up ......... He will be so disappointed, poor Bugga
