I Totally agree with you Ruggs, some artists with £25, are able to delivering you a print in 4 days (including customs clearance) from another continent..... I paid £ 20 for my shipment, and after nearly 15 days from the day of shipment, my print, as that of someone else is not even arrived to customs, someone instead has received it damaged. nobody asked me if I wanted to pay 10 pounds more, in order to receive the print in less time e in in a safer manner, on nearly £ 300 pounds of spending this would haven't been a problem..."Seems people's expectations of print condition once delivered is pretty low." absolutely.

What kind of damage is it Ruggs ? Soft edge (normal hmp) or dented through layers etc.
Paper does get damaged you have dealt with Seigo before why suspect him ?
He's sent it insured so will claim for you.
Could be worse if it wasn't insured.
Bignell will prob charge £90 ish.

It's paper damage. Both sides of the head. I'll post pictures when I get to work tomorrow. I have dealt with Seigo in the past without a single problem but this time he's been impossible to get hold of and when I have he's come back with one lame excuse after another. Not helpful at all. Some people on here are still waiting for theirs. Seigo is blaming the courier. The tube is near perfect and the print packaged well, so I feel the print was damaged prior to sending. The problem with sending the print back is firstly I'll have to pay postage (£30) and then will have to find another £67 to customs. To be honest I might as well see what Graham Bignell can do.

That's bad. You shouldn't accept anything else then mint condition. You should call customs and ask how you can avoid the fee becauseyou are getting a replacement print.

I received mine and it's the same, damaged for a hole in the tube the size of which looks like it was torpedoed... Have to go to the post office to get a claim number, very annoying considering the wait to get it?!

For the amount of money these were sold at you should get a print that is mint. Send it back and get a new one. I don't know why you would have to pay fees again since its a replacement.

just got a customs charge of £27.03, going for pickup tomorrow, hopefully all intact. Thats bad damage Ruggs, send back if you ask me and get the costs back from Siego. good luck

Cheers martinm. Hope all is good with yours and everyone else's whose still waiting for theirs to arrive. Seigo was very understanding after I sent him those photographs above and has duly sorted me out another print. Just checked Japan Post and it appears to be on its way already. Now to keep everything crossed until sometime next week.

got a bill from parcelfarce for £156, I asked Seigo to put tariff code 9702 on and he confirmed he did. I have to pay the 'ing charge and now claim back, and by the sounds of it , theres a good chance the tube has been used for the inter postal baseball championships...

Never used parcel force for overseas so I assume they send a letter asking for funds then they deliver?
DHL deliver and invoice you later for example.

I picked mine up from the local ParcelForce office on Wednesday and paid there and then for mine but I got the customs invoice through yesterday. I expect one should turn up in the post very soon kenzler.

You could either e-mail them at [e-mail] or ring 08448 004466. They might be able to shed some light on what's going on with your print.

It'll have been whomever (Customs Officer) was on duty at the time these specific tubes passed through HMRC. The "£27.03" guy knew what he was doing and the "£67.62" didn't. because I can't see the tubes being marked different in regards to value and content.
