D*Face, by robstar on Nov 28, 2006 10:47:42 GMT 1, Guys, I really need to get some money for a surprise Chirstmas holiday I'm going on with my family and am considering selling my Dog Save The Queen Union Jack edition, it's got the green spraypainted union jack behind the queen image and is out of an edition of 32 copies. Anyone interested? Otherwise maybe I'll ebay it. Although I'm not sure... it does upset me to part with it, but sometimes you need cash...

Insect, by robstar on Dec 16, 2006 14:48:39 GMT 1, Ah thanks mate, that's wicked! Yes I'm definitely going to try to sell them on Ebay, might put a high reserve price in case, as I've got no idea how popular or unpopular Insect are on ebay yet, I guess they're not as big as Banksy.

Insect, by robstar on Dec 15, 2006 19:39:58 GMT 1, I'm thinking of selling my set of four Insect prints, you know the colourful ones with monkeytooth and wasp melt and lip wire and not sure of the other ones name... mine are a complete set of four and all the same number, which is number 13 out of an edition of 25, i might ebay them to raise more cash, but not sure yet. If anyone here is interested let me know how much you'd be up for paying?
In fact does anyone here know the name of the fourth print from that series, I can't find out what it's called.

I didn't buy one of the edition of 30 - Space File but I did buy one of the Rubik Cubism ones... they are colourful and gorgeous!

Space Invader shop is open!, by robstar on Dec 6, 2006 0:39:05 GMT 1, Pastie Pie, yes you are spot on! I wrote to Space Invader himself, well his helper Orbi in fact at Invader HQ, and they said that is the case... what happened was the early numbers of the unsigned edition were sold at Santa's Ghetto in December 2005 and those were numbered out of 200. Mine was number 15 which makes sense in all this! Then post Santa's Ghetto they realised they should've been numbering them out of 100 so that's what they did. Orbi him/herself was sent some copies of the unsigned one for their referencing purpose and theirs was numbered out of 200! PHEW!
Thekevster, yes you are also correct. The signed Space Invader prints are numbered by Invader himself and signed too!
I'm going to sell my unsigned one this week and buy a signed one!

Space Invader shop is open!, by robstar on Dec 3, 2006 19:48:02 GMT 1, Ok... I've seen today on Ebay that some more people have been selling Albino Invader which mine looks similar to, but as mentioned before I had worked out the difference with mine is that it's 15 out of 200, not 100.
Now I've worked out the main difference! My numbering (out of 200) is written in the blue square on the bottom right corner, NOT the bottom right corner on the yellow box like the two currently selling on Ebay. This difference suggests to me so it must've been a 200 copies edition... maybe made especially for the Santa's Ghetto 2005?
Can anyone help me work out what print this is? Any ideas?

Space Invader shop is open!, by robstar on Nov 22, 2006 11:36:01 GMT 1, Does anyone know how much a signed version of the Albino Invader was when it was sold thru POW. I know that the unsigned one was £50... so was the signed one £100?
Cheers

Space Invader shop is open!, by robstar on Nov 20, 2006 17:47:58 GMT 1, I bought a Space Invader square print which looks very much like Albino Invader at the Santa's Ghetto in 2005 December, last Christmas. Mine is a very early number out of 200. But I don't think it can be Albino Invader as I think those ones were numbered in editions of 100, 100 signed, 100 unsigned. But mine is a number 15/200 and is unsigned. It does comes with a Picturesonwalls stamp embossed though and I bought it myself so I know it's a genuine article but am confused what it's called! Anyone know? I paid £50 for it at the time.

Banksy • Girl With Red Balloon Print, by robstar on Nov 20, 2006 17:24:15 GMT 1, I have this one! I bought it myself from Picturesonwalls website in late 2004 and love it to bits! I've just got it framed professionally as I hear they've been selling on Ebay for thousands of pounds. I wanted to make sure I keep it in it's best condition.
For your info guys, mine is an unsigned edition but is numbered in pencil and comes wth a Picturesonwalls stamp embossed circle.
It's amazing how popular Banksy is now. I regret the fact I only own two of his works now, but at least I have two... this one and Monkey Queen...

Banksy Monkey Queen Print, by robstar on Nov 20, 2006 17:13:06 GMT 1, Hi everyone!
I just joined the forum as am very confused. I was given the 'Monkey Queen' unsigned edition in 2003 and want to check that it is a real original copy and not a fake. On Ebay.co.uk right now there are a number of these selling, and I need to know which ones are fake and which are real.
On Ebay some are numbered on the print itself, in the black bit of the image, whereas others are signed in the bottom right hand corner in the white border of the picture and not on the image itself.
Which is an official one? Also be very careful on Ebay as I swear two of those selling right now are not real copies.
The one I have was from 2003 which makes me think it must be genuine as who would've made copies that fast? I don't see why anyone back then would've bothered. Also I think mine is signed in pencil. Is this correct?
I've called Picturesonwalls today but they can't help me to work out if mine is a real copy until 2 weeks time due to them being so busy with shipping the current Banksy print... so if anyone knows now it would be put my mind to rest much faster!
Cheers Rob.

Girl with Red Balloon, by robstar on Mar 10, 2008 12:49:42 GMT 1, Hi everyone.
Yes I'm in London, UK.
I have perfect provenance as I bought the work myself from PicturesonWalls.com and have both receipt and will email Dora & the POW team to get confirmation of my name against number of print too.
The highest offer I've had so far £4,750k which does show how popular this print is!
I've attached a photo here of the print. For closer shots, and offers message me with your email. i121.photobucket.com/albums/o222/glitterstars_photos/IMG_62932.jpg
It's numbered in the 290s out of 600 so is also quite a low number!
Cheers Robstar.x

Girl with Red Balloon, by robstar on Mar 9, 2008 14:23:22 GMT 1, Hi everyone,
Ok I'm taking offers of £4k and above for the Girl With A Red Balloon.
Unsigned, full provenance with POW in my name and original receipt. Comes in a hand made frame, black wood. Looks wicked!
I am seriously considering selling now, but I don't want to let it go for less than £4k.
Message me if any questions. I am based in London.
Cheers R.

Girl with red balloon, by robstar on Feb 29, 2008 21:51:28 GMT 1, p.s. I meant to say, I agree with Yapsey, that the girl with a red balloon must be Banksy's most iconic print simply because it's so accessible. Even my mum and dad love it! And my little cousins who are 3 and 5! It's just the kind of work that everyone loves.
