The newly established Reedprojects Gallery will be opening its doors for the first time next week with "The Rejects" a sweet looking group exhibition in Stavanger, Norway.
Featuring seven of the worlds most renowned street and contemporary artists at this moment, we wish good luck to Reed Projects in the future.
The artists featured in this exhibition, Dolk, Evol, Roa, Brad Downey, Escif, Dan Witz &Vhils, are all part of a new artistic movement originated from a need to question, among other things, the mass appropriation of urban space by corporated interets, the rampant and often mismanaged development of urban environment and economic and socio-political irregularities of our time. All achieved of course with humor, intelligence and grace.
The exhibition seeks in many ways to explore the variety of styles and techniques the work of these seven artists have to offer, ranging from the hard-edged stencil work of Dolk and EVOL to VHILSโ work based on the idea of "destruction and creation", Dan Witzโ intricate paintings and Escifโs beautiful watercolors to the more interactive work of Brad Downey and Roa.
On top of that, a limited edition print by Dolk will be released at the opening, more here:

I emailed twice for the preview (once before the alleged release time of "Wed Evening" and then early Thur morning again. Seen some Flickr photo's so emailed again with some more detail of sales enquiry then also PM'd Nuart on here too...........

We didn't expect such an overwhelming response, there's one person going through specific requests so bear with us. We're in the process of working out how to allocate the prints in a fair and timely manner. As you can imagine, with editions of just 6, 9 and 12 it's been difficult to come up with a fair system. We'll be contacting prospective buyers on Tuesday with details on what is available.
Thanks for your patience and apologies for the confusion/disappointment etc
