The piece is now behind perspex. PLEASE somebody go down there and paint a big white mug around it, so it looks like one of those knock-off mugs on feeBay. I'd do it myself, but I'm miles from London. And I have a fear of being arrested. It seems sad that it's now "protected". Does anyone know who arranges this protection? |

well, in some respects happy to read some of this work is secured, behind perplex or otherwise, to some degree... may sound strange or silly, but some of this is like modern day hieroglyphics... get that most street art, these days, will be removed... but some of it, the history of it, could/should be preserved too (not for financial gain)... some pieces are a mark of our times... dunno, just another useless, not so fully thought out thought, in a time when so much means so little... and from someone w/o sleep for days... Not sure who arranged the 'protection'; presumably the landlord who owes the wall. I know who did the perspex, because they inserted their business card under it. TheY were called 'Allseal Glass'. I took it out yesterday and chucked it. The last thing we need in the world is more f'ing advertising, especially in all the photos of it... I found a Radar Rat on the wall near Starbucks on Victoria Street on Thursday night. A fake I'm sure as it wasn't there last time I walked up that road ..... and because Fragile hasn't posted a picture of it!
I'd post a picture if I could still get it to work from flickr.
