That exhibition was amazing! Best i've seen for a while. Wish I could have afforded a resin box, but I got a couple of goldfish ink drawings for like £40 each...

quite taken with this work... never really know what an artist is thinking... but for me,
it makes me think of life, peace and prosperity... and at the same time, makes me think of yesterday, today and tomorrow...
(the shadow in the water is most interesting, for me - somewhat painful but peaceful, nonetheless...)
i know, marvelously vague... but, it is beautiful in the simplicity and warmth and placement, i think... evokes emotion!...

Yes, definitely better in the flesh and the context of the surroundings.
Great to see/hear kids walking past with their parents and being really taken by it, pointing it out to the parents and asking them about it, who did it, why it was there etc!
