Flag for a... errr Flag, by Andy'77 on Jul 10, 2007 19:22:32 GMT 1, Okay this is the longest shot in the entire history of longshots:
I bought a Flag on ebay shortly after they were released and when it arrived is had a crease on it and it appears some slight streaking that can only really be seen with the flash of a camera. I didn't send it back cos I got a decent deal on it and was worried I wouldn't get another.
The question is this, does anyone have a Flag in mint condition they'd consider trading for one in not so mint condition (but still pretty good as you can see from the picture below) plus some cash? I'm a bit of a perfectionist and would love a nice crisp one.... PM me if by any chance you aren't as anal about the condition of prints as me and I can show you details of the crease and streaks.

in fact i think it's wierd if anyone isn't a perfectionist, how can you not care?

Im a perfectionist too but if it doesnt detract from the image at all then no worries! good luck

Mine had a crease on one corner and one edge (thankfully right on the edge so hidden by a mount) I doubt you will ever find a perfect one TBH as the paper is so delicate, hence the flyer they gave out at the time.

Flag for a... errr Flag, by corblimeylimey on Jul 11, 2007 11:41:21 GMT 1, Am I the only one with a 100% perfect one?
I picked mine up from the ghetto, only handled it with gloves very carefully and put it in a art folio straight away, it stayed in the folio for around 4 months then I took it to my trusted framer with strict instructions that it was very delicate and a gloves only job. Luckily all this attention has paid off, now it's safely in a frame. I can tell you, it's a really nerve racking job handling this print, if or when I sell it it'll have to be sold framed, I'm not going through that again.

Probably I was most pissed off when I got mine back from the ghetto to see it was damaged- but not a lot I could really do about it was there? Just glad it was only very minor and is totally concealed by the excellent framing job I have.

yep cheers curley - it is indeed in perfect condition. Unfortunately it's still sat in my (very clean )portfolio waiting to be framed.

Flag for a... errr Flag, by Andy'77 on Jul 11, 2007 19:48:13 GMT 1, May just have to live with it I guess but it's pretty much my favourite Banksy so would love a pretty looking one.... Or I could risk selling it and buying a new one, making up the difference....
