Recently we've also seen unsigned sell for..... Grannies @ £791 Applause @ £770 J&J @ £983 Gangster Rat @ £762 Love Rat @ £775 CND £816
So looking at those sales it appears that even the cheapest unsigned Banksy prints are going for around £800 now that's quite a jump from around £500 a month or so ago.

u got a great deal then. mine [unisgned] is still in its tube as i dont have an A) port or a space big enough for one. i'd think about trading my applause for a CND (which i like better) but need to keep the applause handy to liquidate should I be lucky enough to land a signed Mr. B in August 2010 when they go on sale.

Flag, by craigf on Jul 6, 2007 8:53:35 GMT 1, Prices are going mad at the moment. The question is will people keep throwing money into the prints or will there be a pause whilst people assess the increase and likelihood of a new release (pls one day )
I am looking at the prices of prints I have bought in the last three months and some have gone up by as much as 1/3rd. I am also kicking myself for turning down a Morons for £585, a flying copper for £850 and an Applause for less than £600. I wouldn't have been able to afford them all, but wish I had at least bought FC

Flag, by craigf on Jul 6, 2007 22:22:48 GMT 1, Bust would be ok with me as then I could afford some of the prints currently well above my budget. If they dropped 50% I would have a paper loss of four figures based on current prices, but I could recover this on one signed print. Also I bought them as I like them with the bonus they may increase in value rather than make money out of them.

If someone paid 100s or 1000s in order to make a quick pound and the prices drop, I for one dont shed a tear for them. However it is clear this rate of increase can not be sustained. A friend has purchased two now of ebay that he has sent back to the sellers because they were not in good condition. I can remember someone here a couple of days ago that wanted to try and do a trade due to the fact they had ripples on there print. When Flag's was sold at the Ghetto Pow stated that the print should not be stored in the tube as it was so fresh of the press and under no circumstances should it be handeled! I guess at least 20% of the baggers who cashed in on the print did not follow those rules. So could it be the sleeper that slowly surpasses the LA prints

Yeah strange that, particularly when there's one that ends in 2 days 8 hours and stands at £895, I guess it was the fact that there were no pictures of the print itself and just stock photos from POW that might have put people off perhaps.

nothing to do with the rules. As I have posted before, lots of them were already damaged when removed from the tube on the day of purchase.

Applause too (e.g. 130132853822 and a couple others) though maybe not for long.
