ONLY THE DENNING & SICKBOY LEFT
I have just removed the Denning from it's acrylic box (which will come with it) to see what it would look like reframed. Much better imo and in I'm two minds whether to keep it and have it done - but for the time being I am still open to let it go...... This also has the LP and sleeve inside, something which I didn't realise until this morning plus another signed COA, so it now has two.
* deposit will hold anything.
* poss trades - I have always wanted a pop tart but feel free to pm/post anything
- Grafter Splash white - *SOLD*
- C215 stencil on marble - *SOLD*
- Denning AP - museum glass/gilt - *SOLD*
- Eine shutterfont numbers - Black/museum glass *SOLD*

img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/pepperchilli/frame%20options/P8131865.jpg

smg.photobucket.com/albums/v68/pepperchilli/frame%20options/?start=all

Lots of int in this but if it doesn't go with frame then I may separate and will ship anywhere.
PICS up of the C215 * I have no idea what his work is going for these days - but fair to say this is a great piece with the stencil working beautifully with the marbling.

Guy Denning, by Standard on Jun 21, 2011 18:24:40 GMT 1, just measured 12 inches square, about 1.3 inches deep but the actual stone is approx .75 inches - although it's held snug inside the box.

Guy Denning, by alison03 on Jun 21, 2011 20:55:32 GMT 1, Well, yeah. But Grafter signed each panel individually after he cut it so as someone who has never seen one in person, I don't know the difference by only pics and just wanted to check.
The crazy part is I inquired about the cut triptych once and the guy sold his panel for something like $$400.

It was a good question. One of the guys was trying to sell his piece of the destroyed print for $1,000. It pisses me off that someone might buy it no knowing the difference.

wowza
Yeah I agree. It's definitely important to know the difference between the original print and a cut print...would hate for that to happen too.

Guy Denning, by shortcut on Jun 21, 2011 23:31:15 GMT 1, weird, i can't speak for the whole edition, but when we were selling the triptych at Urban Angel, Grafter only signed and numbered it once in the bottom right hand corner as you'd expect.
if that changed i don't know, but what i would say is i think any single image edition had a deckle edge on the sides (just like the one Standard Daz is offering for sale based on the picture), so if there's one for sale with straight edges (top, bottom and sides) it's possible that someone has cut a triptych into three single pieces.
But this is to the best of my (limited) knowledge so it's possible I'm wrong!
PS by the time the triptych was released, the actually splashes were really, really thick, solid paint, the single edition splashes on paper were much flatter (but still pretty hefty in some cases).

Grafter signed and or number them three times if you asked. At least for the last few they were made to order so it wasn't a big deal for him to do things like that. The triptych looks really nice. A buddy of mine has one. The problem is, it is gigantic and the paint is very think so you don't want to put it back in the tube if you can help it. Framing it would cost a small fortune.

Guy Denning, by pinballwizard on Jun 23, 2011 13:08:31 GMT 1, Multiple cardboard sheets works best. Thats how I've received Keyes prints before from NYC with no bends, damage. Used about 8-12 sheets total with it in between.

Guy Denning, by jusdeep on Jun 23, 2011 14:28:46 GMT 1, You could try thick foamcore board or just send it between thin board. if you're using multiple cardboard make sure you alternate the grain which will prevent any bending.

Perfect advice, the plastic core board is good stuff too (like a 'for sale' sign material). Just shipped a print inside 80cmx80cm to the US no probs. To take it to the ultimate flat pack between board then put that in a larger outer box with packing to protect the boards.
