Hi All,

Bleeding Edge AKA hopelessquest (don't ask) here, I'm a bit fucked off with the world so I thought I might try something a bit different.

I am poor and need paint, it's all I do, it's all I want to do but unfortunately even at times like this when I am wishing I had some ciggies or food, I still can't bring myself to pimp any of my skills for money (it makes me feel like a pay as you go version of a slave). But seeing as how there are so many enterprising people on this forum, I thought I would make an offer and see if any fish bite.

For the exchange of paint, I will create and put up a large scale image, put it in a very bait spot in zone 1, London (probably East) and will hand over the copyright and source material to you so that you may do with it what you wish (sell it, burn it, make a print, put your name on it, advertise shit... I don't care). No it won't be my name, the quality will be of a high level, it will get seen, it will get photographed and you won't be implicated in any illicit activity.

Put your money where your mouth is, it doesn't take that much paint, time wasters need not apply.

if i supplied the graphic that i wanted you would be willing to paint it MASSIVE on a wall???
surely then i would fucked over if such graphic contained a link to a website or such?

Thanks for the PM's, I am off to get a friends digi cam, just want to remind you that it is first come first serve and no, you can't tell me what to paint, you might get to contribute but it will be an image that represents my struggle, if you want one to represent you or yours, then you probably want a mural done and that is not at all what I was offering.

If a large iconic work in London isn't worth it for you, then don't PM, that simple.

No, I am saying you give me paint, and I will put MY image on a wall, in a more bait spot than other artists, a more provocative piece and other artists, more noticable than other artists and after the fact, you can have the copyright to do what you will with the image and source material (black books, any stencils etc). No t-shirt ads, no websites addresses, no names. The image is mine, it is all about me, I made it, I feel it and I just want it up. Just think of it as someone who doesn't give a shit anymore, willing to go all the way without fear of consequence, if you think this thing has been taken to it's peak, let me show you what still needs to be done.

In the spirit of openess I thought I might repeat what I was telling people in PM.

I can get it up for about £70, ideally £80. That is enough spray for me to put a clean work on a large area (approx 21m squared), the emulsion will be free since I will just go grab some from a recycling center. It would be done within the same week and you would receive the source material within a few days from when the piece is up.

My style? Well not to reveal my identity, but I am as known for playing with style as I am for having opinions on street art, I have done many different sorts of pieces and whilst most might view that as me trying to find a style, I view it as me saying a big f**k off to professionalism and repeat success and embracing the experimental and playful nature of the art. This image is a mix of stencil and good old fashioned spray, the end image will look like a giant stencil even though most of it will be done freehand (the actual stencil is for one area of high detail that is about a meter square). Some areas will look like more traditional graffiti themes in the background to give the illusion that the subject is stencil and the rest is freehand but it isn't a stencil on a dirty streety graff background, both are tied together in a very special way.

Who am I? All will be revealed in good time, needless to say I do have reason to keep my mouth shut on that, it isn't because I am hustling you and it certainly isn't because I'm trying to hype or sell anything but rather because I could go to jail for the things I have done and continue to do (not that I consider any of my crimes morally wrong).

I also have 2 canvas versions of the image, they are both different sizes, but you are welcome to them and can have both (my name is on the back) and G.. if you are who I think you are, you have something extra special on the way, if for nothing else then for not baiting me up when you had the chance, I respect that.

Ideally funds would be received through Western Union so I wouldn't have to reveal anything other than one of my cohort's names, it would also mean I could get started right away and the image would be up within the week. I don't care if you want to split the cost, just as long as you have come to some sort of agreement and I know where to send everything. So there it is, you can play a part for half the price of a bortusk leer and a third of the price of a cartrain.

I'll meet up (it will be a bit cloak and dagger but I'll do it). Western Union is because the only person I could get to agree to help mask my identity is what they phrased as "financially disenfranchised" which means they don't have a bank account. For what it's worth you do have to specify the receivers location through WU and that location would be London, but if you are willing to meet me in East London, it's doable. If you would rather give the cans of paint instead of money, I would glady take that since that's the goal. Going to jail for my art crimes is one thing, but going to jail for opening my mouth on the internet... well as I'm sure you can understand, is just not acceptable. If you have any alternatives I'll be happy to hear em.
