I Cant believe that I have just got the replacement for my damaged morron's and this one also damaged I am so p*ssed off. haven't even taken it out off the tube and I can see the damage, I think POW need to invest in some bigger tubes! or some one who can be a little less heavy handed when packing. nice printing bad packing

It is unbelievable how often this happens at POW. I've had to send back 2 out of 6 prints in the past.

my friend's morons came like that too. they don't care. i don't think i would care either. its not even creased. put some cloth over it and take an iron to it if you care that much.

maybe i'm wrong and some of you can shed light on this. would this type of half creased corner make it less than "mint" condition?

what do i know. i'm just another moron who payed alot of money for this s**t print. ;D

I've seen a green looking one for sale on the Bay - looks pretty putrid IMO. It could be worth more however due the 'rarity' value if the colour doesn't offend you

I deteste the green... looks gash imo. Sepia is good but I honestly prefer the US version with the gold frame.

Can anyone tell me what the differnce is between the backgrounds from the US & UK versions?

My bro sent his green one back today. Apparently they may not be able to replace it as they're running out! Tricky, hope they can do, otherwise what happens? Green bent print back or a refund?

It's interesting that most of the "damaged" prints are damaged in the same way. Although this may have happened during packing or in transit, it wouldn't surprise me if the paper (either before or after printing) was stacked in a pile and the stack was dinged. Thereby damaging a whole load of prints at once. Not that it really makes much difference how it happened if you've received a damaged one.

As for reprinting them, that may not be as easy as it sounds. Really depends on whether POW still have the screens made up and colours mixed, etc. Not to mention all of the extra work for Ben. Then they're going to have to get Banksy to sign them and that could take some time.

Obviously I'd want a mint one, but if it came down to a dinged one or my money back I'd definitely keep the dinged one.

As for the colour variation, POW must have mixed the colours themselves, not made enough, and simply couldn't match them again. Or they were experimenting a bit.

Yeh...i'll take some better photo's tomorrow when the light is better. Deckled? edge makes it even more difficult to get out of the tube without tearing in half! I just looked at the POW image of Sepia...note quite the same.

I sent mine back too... and I'm located in the US, so everything takes longer

What I don't get... is why I have to pay the postage for the return. I paid the postage for them to send it to me, and since I was defective, I again have to pay the postage to send it back to them, including insurance and tracking and all?

Not a big deal if it happens once in a blue moon, but this is the 3rd time I've had to return prints to POW. It all adds up, at US$35 per pop!!
