What if you owned an art gallery?, by brainthedog on Jul 26, 2007 22:10:54 GMT 1, Yeah I've had to resend about 25% of mine for replacement. i think the key is to pack the tube ina box. porterhouse did that with the ryden stuff and came in good form.

What if you owned an art gallery?, by brainthedog on Jul 26, 2007 22:31:20 GMT 1, Another question is, why aren't galleries considered "flippers" afterall, some of them buy artwork from the private sector and re-sell them? they don't have the same stigma as private resellers.

Witness the Guy Denning farce were they placed them on e-bay!!
give us all a fair chance of getting one.....yes right......
That is why POW are such legends....how much could they charge for a banksy if they really wanted? but they don't....always championing new artists etc.... leg ends!! ;D

Not as key as having someone like Banksy on board. How many complaints have you seen on here about PoW's service, and yet we're still all willing to forgive for the potential of getting out mits on a Trolly Hunter.

just to clear up about the Guy Denning thing, they were owned by a third party and not the gallery, and they were put on ebay by the gallery as a favour foer the owner! there was a thread..
