What to expect in 2011?, by hlarmy on Jan 23, 2011 23:35:57 GMT 1, In 2006, 30,000 visited Barely Legal in LA. Then in 2007 Banksy travelled to Bethlehem and painted Israel's West Bank wall. Cans Festival in 2008, Banksy v Bristol Museum and one of the most visited art shows of all time in 2009, and then Exit Through the Gift Shop Door and a possible Oscar nomination in 2010.
Is anyone else a little excited about what may lie ahead in 2011? What can he do next, answers on a postcard, or even better, by way of a post on this thread

What to expect in 2011?, by colinfishwick on Jan 23, 2011 23:48:52 GMT 1, don't mean to be a pedant but although Santa's Grotto was in Palestine in '07 Banksy will always be famous for painting the wall in 2005, not that year IMO.
that said, i think 2011 will see a concerted effort to explore pastures new, the film is done and out there, the olympics are in London next year and i have high hopes for some serious action on the back of that - i think this year will see Banksy look to make his mark in areas/regions where he isn't so well known. yet
