Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by curiousgeorge on Jan 20, 2010 13:38:05 GMT 1, Don't like waves at all
Mylar corners are an option which will also allow for a bit of movement with the paper

Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by frontierman on Jan 20, 2010 16:02:57 GMT 1, In my view you are wasting your money on Museum glass, it is only needed on very dark subjects, ( that is the non-reflective qualities) as NBG is a light bit of work, you should go with conservation glass. As to surface mounting or using a window mount, go with the window mount, it's better for attaching the print, have a look at this www.frontierpictureframes.com/page12.htm it's one I did last week, with museum mount and conservation glass in a wide white box frame, price around £160.00

Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by jaimesl on Jan 20, 2010 18:52:55 GMT 1, I disagree with frontierman on the non-reflective glass.
I would recommend it for everything... Pay a little extra for plexi-glass if you can it's lighter and almost invisible... It gives a float mounted piece loads more depth... Really very special.
It's more expensive but when you look at the link above the print and framing looks flat with the reflections.
Just my opinion... But worth waiting a little longer and framing it well (if money is an issue)

Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by frontierman on Jan 21, 2010 10:43:44 GMT 1, A window mount, goes over your print and has a window in it so you can see the print, also the artwork can be attached using Mylar corners, rather than using any type of tape hinging.

Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by frontierman on Feb 6, 2010 12:05:01 GMT 1, Well the image is not square, the width is 3cm wider thank the height, so the size is approx 84cm x 81 cm including the mount, plus you have to allow for the blind stamp, which is in a different position on each print

Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by spirit on Apr 2, 2010 20:18:07 GMT 1, Ricardo at Pauli frames is very good and reasonably priced. Particularly if you want a box frame as he hand makes them all, sands them down and sprays them so you get invisible joins at the corners. They are also a lot more hard wearing than "off the shelf" frames which tend to chip at the slightest knock.

Banksy No Ball Games Framing Advice, by shinybrite on May 2, 2010 21:52:13 GMT 1, Hi
Don't know where you are, but if you're in London I use Gleesons in Raynes Park, it doesn't look like anything special, but they really know they're stuff, and do lots of Banksy.
Best - Jack
