Gold Flag- 12,500 USD plus shipping!, by Guest on Apr 7, 2008 19:00:03 GMT 1, That's fine. I can easily call a courier with the time to do it. Like I said, buyer pays all shipping and transaction fees... If this is a cost that you are willing to accept, then yes hand-carry is no problem at all.
I will not take any less than $12,500 USD.
We can have the print to you by the end of the week... Let's take this to PM. I am sending you my contact information so we can discuss.
The print is still for sale.

Gold Flag- 12,500 USD plus shipping!, by Guest on Apr 10, 2008 20:55:32 GMT 1, Didn't sell, so I put up a new auction on ebay. Item #280216985744
Any takers? I can't understand why this wouldn't sell for $12,500 when the very next day, one went for over $13K USD.
Anyways, let me know if anyone's interested.

Well then - let me be that single person. ยฃ5,850 is not priced to sell. Its a price to make a 'right bleedin profit' from. Did you travel to the Ghetto to buy it? What percentage will you be giving to Banksy's preffered charity? Cost price plus a donation to charity would tell me 'its priced to sell'. Z

Many items with BIN or realistic minimum prices do not sell on the bay. While the same items will often exceed that same value in an auction format listing with no reserve. You need to balls to list it to generate interest rather than trying to play it safe. People who see it at a low price are more likely to bid, or watch it thinking of a late bid, getting "emotionally involved" with the item on some level. Or at least that's the only logic I've been able to apply to this odd trend, from seeing it so regularly.

Gold Flag- 12,500 USD plus shipping!, by Guest on Apr 14, 2008 19:32:09 GMT 1, I make plenty of donations to charities of my own choosing. Is one of these charities Santa's Ghetto? You betcha! That's all I'm going to say about that...
Besides, we've been over this before with Zippy and RonHill about a month ago. I'm not really into repeating myself, but there's my response again for the record. Please stop continually shitting on my threads...
Manchester Mike, I am very familiar with the chromalux media that was used for this edition. I store and ship some of my art in 5-6" diameter tubes. Gold Flag height is 19.5", circumference of a 5" diameter tube is 15.7", therefor the print has been rolled 1.2 times in the tube. If I use a 6" tube, then it gets rolled 1.03 times, thus the face of the print is touching nothing but air, and the fibers and coating will not be harmed from such light flexing.
You are all very smart, and those are definitely considerations worth having. However, I ask that you please be mindful that you're not the only people who maintain those considerations...
Thanks for the concern, but no thanks for the attempted diss...

Gold Flag- 12,500 USD plus shipping!, by Heavyconsumer on Apr 14, 2008 19:42:51 GMT 1, talk about defensive!! Here's one for ya - Gold Flag, just listed and sold with a BIN price of ยฃ2500!! Now that's what I call "priced to sell". Kind of makes ยฃ11.5k still seem high, although I'm very confident that you'd get at least $11.5k as an auction format listing. BIN is not the way to go if you want the market value!

lets clear up a few things here.
1. you are obviously a dealer new to this scene and coming on here saying sh1t like.... JetSet Graffiti is very happy to be able to offer this screaming deal to our good friends on the Banksy Forum. Please be aware that this forum is made up predominantly of Banksy fans. We are not stupid c11nts who will be wooed by your 'screaming deals'. Or maybe it screams of bullshit.
2. I quote the above of 'been over this before with Zippy and ronhill' I personally do not remember commenting on any previous posts of yours before. But does this mean you were trying it on previously too?
3. I must admit that the crap you wrote about the sizes of tubes used will not win you over on here. How can you think people will be impressed by your b11llsh1t?
I don't usually get this personal on here but I cant stand the way you use the forum and Banksy's name to make a few quid.
I am not perfect, I have sold art to raise monies for other pieces. But you are trying to move into this movement to make a few bucks. You are a parasite and stop trying to use words like 'diss' to make you sound 'street'. I would rather you placed the plum back into your mouth and concentrated on the art you have been previously selling to your faithful customers before coming on here.
We are not mugs nor should you try to treat us like one.
rant over. Z
