Any Decent Galleries? Alternatives to eBay?, by Matt 2 ttaM on Aug 12, 2020 20:14:46 GMT 1, I am not sure where the best place to post this is, but when it comes to alternative spots to pick up some Banksy gear, is there any decent ones? I know Artsy curates a bunch of them but am not sure which are decent. One specifically that comes to my mind is Dope Gallery, is that one any good?
Thanks in advance!

Mainly smaller odds and ends under a few grand, specifically right now I was looking at posters like Soup Can (Its 690$ on Dope Gallery but I dont know if the items are vetted or more or less listed like eBay). And with eBay either you got to fish through a ton of results or be specific, I was wondering if thereโs decent alternative platforms that you can see a variety of works without fishing through a sea of reproductions.

banksy will inevitably put out more tat/ephemera for the fans. dismaland was only 5 years ago, palestine posters at the world fair was only 2 years ago. GDP last year.

Be careful on Artsy it can be as bad as ebay with fakes

Those are solid points, with some items I glaze over them until I visualize a decent spot for them and then try to reason it out. Soup Can is just the latest as I hadnโt been a big fan of it but then I just realized it would look great framed in my little pantry with the other canned food.
