Hi all,

Being its my first time posting on here & a newbie could anyone shed some light on who the artist is on the attached print please. I've had it approx 5 years. I can't remember where I found it/bought it. I had no idea what website I found it on as back then wasn't really purchasing much art and not aware of artists.

Anyone know if it's worth owt?

Hi Glenn,
That is a giclee by Chris Moon and it is called "My head in your clouds"
I can't say that I know anything about this artist but now we have a name to start researching.

Its a toss up between how much do you like it, an early work and not one of his best, or is it worth moving it on (as in is it worth owt?!) and perhaps replacing with something that you enjoy looking at more.
Looks to me like his later stuff has really hit its stride with a generous nod to the californian painters of hard light.

I remember seeing him in the 'InHuman' group show in 2010 with David Walker, Penny, Joseph Loughborough, Daniel Lumbini and Nick Gentry. His paintings there looked very heavily influenced by Francis Bacon, as does this.
Like was said above, he's moved on to a Miami/Cali scene style and although this is probably not best representation of his work he does have a healthy following, he demanded good prices at auction and his shows seem to sell really well.
