I nearly almost pulled the trigger on the flying pigs, I think i prefer this though.

Mau Mau has amazing skills and can do much much better than this  it just feels like he has ran out of ideas.

Mau Mau's satirical characters are what keep him just as relevant today as a decade ago. But he has plenty of other strings to his bow - which if you go looking for outside of his prints, you will find plenty of examples. When most urban art is done for aesthetic appeal, he is not afraid to keep things a bit rough - I like that about him. His characters' familiarity are their strengths - we know the narrative - so less needs to be implied - keeping things simple IMO helps with the impact of the message. Nothing wrong with his foxes...here is mine   ย ย
