Pistol π¬π§ Stencil Street Art β’ For Sale & Wanted, by Pistol on May 9, 2015 19:17:29 GMT 1, Appreciate all your comments thanks. I don't deny responsibility but just wanted to know the general consensus. Many people don't want to pay the insurance as it is expensive!!

Pistol π¬π§ Stencil Street Art β’ For Sale & Wanted, by barnsy on May 10, 2015 8:26:31 GMT 1, I recently sold a gold coin on ebay that I sent by recorded delivery.
It went missing and as seller it was my responsibility to refund buyer.
Recorded delivery only covers for Β£50 whereas coin cost Β£250.
Now I insist on insuring every item to cover value and buyer pays, only costs a couple of pound more.
Well worth it as postal services are not the most reliable.

Always insure and charge the final price of the sale factoring in insurance.

Pistol π¬π§ Stencil Street Art β’ For Sale & Wanted, by tas on May 15, 2015 13:20:01 GMT 1, I've sent a few high priced items overseas from the States. The postal service will not insure to some areas or will only allow up to a certain amount. In those cases I'd ask the buyer if they want to pay more for shipping with a company that would insure for the full amount, such as DHL or FedEx. Every time that's happened the buyer agreed to pay additional costs without hesitation. It's just not worth the gamble when shipping high valued items.

Pistol π¬π§ Stencil Street Art β’ For Sale & Wanted, by 11 on May 15, 2015 13:48:13 GMT 1, Please ensure you read the small print on your insurance - very few insurers will insure for damage ONLY LOSS
To be insured for damage the insurer will want to inspect the goods - that is why someone like flight logistics are worth using as they will collect, inspect, securely pack and deliver you print / art work - insured for loss AND DAMAGE
I'm feeling like a stuck record but just trying to warn you to avoid my pitfalls

I think its because its half the edition size (5 instead of 10). At least it seems that way in Pistols shop.

Pistol π¬π§ Stencil Street Art β’ For Sale & Wanted, by Dr Plip on Feb 1, 2016 11:42:01 GMT 1, Isn't it strange that we chose the heart to represent love? I mean, I think it's because people used to think that's where the soul lived. Or they mistook the fear-induced adrenalin that makes our heart beat faster, and thought it meant that love lived inside our hearts, because that's where they could feel it?
It could just as easily been the brain that was chosen over the heart. If that had happened, all of our Valentine's cards and artwork would feature a brain as the central motif and not the heart.
And in a parallel universe, that's happening right now.
It makes you think, doesn't it?
And all those teddy bears that people give as romantic gifts, they'd be clutching a brain, with I love you written on it.
Anyway, I'm single.

With the level of tweeness in the above piece, I see it as serving two possible roles on Valentine's Day, depending on the personality and life experiences of the recipient / giftee:
(i) art that might be appreciated, if the giftee loves schmaltz, teddy bears, and that sort of thing; or
(ii) art that will push the giftee to dump the giftor.
The second role is potentially very useful for coward giftors who lack the courage and initiative to end relationships they no longer wish to be in.
