Pistol π¬π§ Stencil Street Art β’ For Sale & Wanted, by Pistol on Aug 21, 2008 12:45:44 GMT 1, I am in the process of my first ever stencil (anywhere let alone canvas)! All the cutting kind of went to plan and am currently spraying in the garden in the wind (not too helpful). I have now put myself under severe pressure but promise to post a pic when finished! After the supercans event in Southampton I thought there must be room for one more (ARTIST)?! Before anyone asks I did not use photoshop or any similar programme. Although may have been a good idea!

At least you got up and did something about creating a piece rather that what lots of us say in that 'we'll get around to it'! I too have started dabbling on a few things through inspiration I got from this forum. Well done and look forward to seeing your next one.

I've played around on Photoshop loads creating images to cut stencils from but never get around to taking it that stage further, mainly due to the complete lack of outside space in my tiddly London flat to do any spraying.
Threads like this could give me the kick up the backside I need.

I actually started off doing it outside, i was a bit paranoid about spraying inside cos of the mess... the bloody wind was impossible though, and i didn't have the patience to wait for a calm day!
