Got a delivery of different charcoals the other day...



And these are a small series of new portraits. The are all about a 1m tall.
Bright backgrounds offset the mangled faces.

Fun times.

It was a very unexpected email on Monday. They said they had seen my work over the weekend and loved it. Asked if I wanted to be part of the affordable art fair. It was a no brainer. I managed to wrap up 5 paintings and about 50 or so charcoals in about an hour and get couriered the next morning. So exciting!

On a selfish note I'm annoyed with myself for not picking up one of your abstractish canvases a little while ago. I'm in the middle of buying a house and new car so decided to hold out until we were moved into a new place as a present to myself when I could justify the spend.

I fear now your prices may be taken out of my reach by the time we are moved in, ha.
