I used a Prussian Blue once, that after 2 years, still hadn't dried. When I sold it, I just had to tell the new owner not to touch the trousers on it.

There's just something lovely about oil paint though. You can't rush it, but the effect is worth it.

I drew in thick layers of brown oil recently for something and it took a good 2 weeks to dry. Every day, I was trying to find somewhere new to poke it. It tries your patience doesn't it? Especially when it's finished and ready to go. I have a dog as well!

I have 2 cats. Hair is a nightmare. They have also walked through my paint palette once or twice so there are blue paw prints throughout the house!

Constantly finding the odd hair while the paint is drying too. 
Everyday I'm poking the paint to see if it moves under the surface., I have a couple almost there though.

Thank you. It's a new technique for me and it really becomes expressive and free!

LOL. If they walk through the paint again, follow them around the apartment, putting blank canvasses down in front of them.

I've had great feedback so far. People are really liking them, but sales are slow / non existent it's a tough time of year though as you said.
